S&T Acquires Grall Group

S&T strengthens its market position in the Czech Republic

April 28, 2006. Vienna - Prague. Effective with 2nd Quarter 2006 S&T System Integration & Technology Distribution AG will acquire 100% of the shares in the Grall Group, a leading system integrator in the Czech Republic.

Grall is one of the leading system integrators in the Czech IT-market with a strong focus on IT-infrastructure solutions and managed services. With more than 100 employees Grall has offices in Prague, Liberec, Brno, Teplice, Ostrava and Zlin.

Due to the complementary nature of the two companies’ business activities the acquisition will enable S&T and Grall to set the pace on the Czech IT-market with a portfolio that is more attractive for both existing and new clients.

"Grall fits seamlessly into S&T’s system integration business, enabling us to offer our customers a broader portfolio and all the advantages that come from an improved nationwide coverage and the support provided by an IT-group which does business in 19 Central and East European countries with more than 2,000 employees," said Christian Rosner, CEO of S&T AG.

The parties have agreed not to release details of the purchase price. This transaction is subject to the approval of the cartel authority.
