S&T has more than 3,100 staff in 22 countries. The expertise and professionalism of its staff is a very important success factor for S&T as a 100% service company. Each year it invests more than two million Euro, or 3% of its total salaries and wages budget - almost twice as much as the average Austrian company - in training and further education for its staff.
In most of the countries where it is active, S&T Group has had a successful presence for many years already, and it makes long-term investments in developing the branches and markets in each place. The key to this is working in local teams, and S&T offers each team interesting challenges and attractive development opportunities.

S&T also has excellent relationships with the universities in each of its countries. For example, together with the Technical University in Sofia, S&T operates an ILM (Information Lifecycle Management) training centre where students, lecturers, clients and S&T staff are trained. S&T also has strong links with the acclaimed University of St. Gallen, which was the environment from which The Information Management Group (IMG), which is now part of S&T, was founded in 1988.

Dynamic exchanges with universities are also very helpful to S&T when it comes to recruiting staff. The Group employs frequently new graduates and trains them internally. This enables S&T to cope extremely well with the lack of IT specialists in most of the countries where it operates.
