Country Manager: Peter KucerPeter Kucer has been Managing Director of S&T Varias since February 2008. He has over 10 years’ management experience, in the field of IT, acquired both at home and abroad. He was employed amongst others by IBM, where he started in 1996 as a Sales Representative for IBM Slovensko, later working as the Small and Medium Business Manager for Slovakia, and finally as the Key Account Manager for Central Europe, Middle East and Africa. Before commencing work at S&T Varias, he held the position of Software Sales Manager for the SMB segment in the CEMAAS region (Central Europe, Middle East, Africa, Austria and Switzerland).Peter Kucer attended Zilina University, where he completed studies in electric traction and power engineering. Between 1991 and 1994, he continued his PhD studies, completing a fellowship at the University degli studi di Catania. Furthermore he participated in a MBA program at Henley Management College and successfully completed specialized management training courses at the Leadership Institute, International Business School and IBM Global Sales School. Service OfferingsThe core businesses of S&T Slovakia are above all security, security audit, networking, enterprise management, UNIX/LINUX solutions, business application solutions, consulting services, customer training, installation, maintenance as well as warranty and post-warranty services. Varias on the other hand specialises in the implementation of SAP solutions and therefore perfectly complements the wide sphere of S&T in Slovakia.In addition, S&T Slovakia is also active in the medical solutions sector. As general representative of Philips Medical Systems (in a total of six countries – Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Moldova, Slovakia) S&T offers a wide portfolio of medical devices: monitors, EKG machines, defibrillators, breathing devices, anaesthesia machines, ultrasound devices, computer tomography, magnetic resonance, angiography systems, infusion devices, automatic medication distributors and CytoCare robots.
