The challenge

Pankl Racing Systems has a common Windows domain and a common exchange organisation at the Bruck an der Mur, Kapfenberg and Bicester, Oxford locations. During updating, the availability and the performance of the system had to be increased in addition to the actualising of the new versions.

The project

In order to satisfy Pankl Racing Systems’ requirements, S&T Austria implemented clustered systems at the Bruck an der Mur and Kapfenberg locations. The complete data stock was migrated onto these high-availability systems, in order to optimise the availability of the indexing service. Increased availability and performance are obtained through the further development of the system and moreover, the security of the whole system and the information contained in it is increased.

Upgrading of the communication and collaboration system ensures that Pankl Racing Systems is not only manufacturing a state-of-the-art product, but is also operating with one. Company communications operates smoothly and facilitates efficient cooperation between teams, areas and locations.
