S&T launches joint project with MUMOK

2 March 2007: S&T Group and the Vienna Museum of Modern Art Ludwig Foundation (MUMOK) have agreed on a multi-faceted joint project for 2007. S&T is sponsoring the "Yves Klein. The Blue Revolution" exhibition, due to start on 9 March, as well as displaying selected paintings from the MUMOK collection in its offices.
2007 is shaping up to be the "year of art" at S&T. The premises, especially the meeting rooms, which are used by many visitors, were recently adorned with selected works from the MUMOK collection, including "Blue and Red of Summer" by Albert Bitran, "Violet Tree" by Covaliu Bradut, "The Sleeping Knight" by Maryan, "Burgenland scene" by Ferdinand Stransky and "Pippins" by Antonio Scordia. "We provide high-quality IT consultancy and services; the artists whose works are now hanging in our premises create high-quality art. Though the content is quite different, the theme of striving for excellence in all we do unites us, " explains Christian Rosner, CEO of S&T AG.

Trailblazers in art and IT
The exhibition that S&T is sponsoring, "Yves Klein. The Blue Revolution", runs from 9 March to 3 June 2007 at Vienna's Museum of Modern Art. Yves Klein was one of the most important protagonists in the European avant garde in the 1950s. This is the first comprehensive retrospective devoted to his work to be mounted in Austria, and is being realised together with the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris. Klein was a pioneer and radical proponent of monochrome painting, always searching for new modes of expression. S&T is a pioneer in the provision of IT services, a company that focuses on innovation and is always seeking the best possible solutions. No other IT partner has a such a strong presence in so many countries in Central and Eastern Europe, or such evident success.
