Ernst Nonhoff joins S&T Supervisory Board

Q1 2007: +13% growth in consultancy and solutions business

3 May 2007. Ernst Nonhoff (63), former General Manager of IBM Austria, has joined the supervisory board of S&T AG. The existing members of the supervisory board were confirmed in their positions at today's general meeting. William de Gelsey (86), who has served on the board since 2002, did not stand. Shareholders were pleased with the company's positive development and affirmed their continued support for consistent realisation of its strategic objectives - by unanimous approval of all the board's proposals.
The S&T supervisory board will gain prominent, expert reinforcement in the person of Ernst Nonhoff, who withdrew from operational business at IBM Austria in January 2007 and has now made his expertise available to S&T. Other members of the supervisory board confirmed at this morning's general meeting were Mag. Thomas Streimelweger, Dr. Reinhard Moser, Dr. Franz Jurkowitsch, DDr. Michael Millauer, DI Karl Nigl and Dr. Kurt Waniek. In the constituent supervisory board meeting Mag. Thomas Streimelweger was selected as Chairman of the Board and Dr. Reinhard Moser as Vice Chairman. "We are very thankful to William de Gelsey for his valuable support as a member of the supervisory board in recent years and wish him all the best for the future. We are also very pleased to have secured the input of a person with such a good name in the Austrian IT market as Ernst Nonhoff," says Christian Rosner, CEO S&T AG.

S&T Strategy makes an impact
S&T's rapid growth and exceptionally successful development, both economically and on the capital market, confirm to shareholders that the strategy has been successfully implemented. The conversion of the company to a provider of consulting and solutions is being accomplished in a sustainable manner. For instance, in the first quarter of 2007, the consulting and solutions business saw growth of 13%. In the Business Solutions area, S&T turned over €22.3 M in the first three months of 2007 (+11.3% compared to Q1 2006), and in Managed Services, €19.4 M (+15.1% compared to Q1 2006). Enterprise Systems business, on the other hand, decreased slightly (€60.2 M turnover / -2.3% in the 2006 comparison period), due mainly to particularly stiff competition in this business area in the fourth quarter of 2006. Projects in Enterprise Resource Planning, Business Intelligence, Enterprise Application Integration and Service Oriented Architecture dominated the first quarter 2007 for S&T, along with IT Process Consulting and Management, Optimisation and Management of Infrastructure, Virtualisation and Outtasking. Business Solutions and Managed Services were the growth drivers for spring 2007.
