S&T AG exhibiting jointly with IMG at SAPPHIRE 07

Over 1,200 S&T/IMG specialists internationally active for SAP/ERP

Getting to the goal together – with this guiding motto S&T presents the comprehensive SAP expertise of the group, together with the recently acquired The Information Management Group (IMG), at this years SAPPHIRE 07, which takes place from May 14th to 16th in Vienna. Since the official takeover of IMG on April 2nd of this year, over 1,200 SAP/ERP specialists are now internationally active for S&T. S&T is one of the leading providers of IT consulting, IT solutions and IT services, as well as the largest SAP consulting company in Central and Eastern Europe, and thanks to the IMG takeover now also in Germany, Switzerland, the US and Asia. At SAPPHIRE, the economics and technology event for SAP users, S&T will introduce itself, jointly with IMG, to an international professional audience.
“By taking over the Swiss company IMG, we have advanced to become a key player in the area of SAP services,” Christian Rosner, CEO of S&T, explains. “This is in line with one of the main strategic objectives of our corporate group. S&T’s transition to become a consulting and solution provider is successful so far. After the IMG takeover, S&T is now represented in 23 countries and, with 3,000 active employees, perfectly equipped for the challenges ahead.” The company will focus on the manufacturing industry, banks and insurance companies and retail / wholesale trade.

In February of this year, S&T AG will open an SAP-authorised training centre in Ljubljana, Slovenia. The objective of the centre is to train clients, partners as well as S&T employees in the use of SAP business software solutions and to carry out certification training for SAP consultants. In March, S&T Hungary (UNITIS) received the highest award in the SAP Partner Edge Program for a consistently high service level as well as ongoing fulfilment of customer needs, and became an SAP Gold Partner.

During SAPPHIRE 07, the economics and technology trade fair for SAP professional guests, S&T AG also presented its SAP mid-sized company offensive in hall 2, booth 75. In cooperation with SAP, S&T now starts pre-fabricated and quickly implementable SAP solutions for the elevated middle class in nine countries in which the group is represented – Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Romania, Turkey and Austria.

SAPPHIRE 07 takes place at the Reed Congress Center in Vienna from May 14th to 16th, 2007. Over 100 international exhibitors from the areas of SAP hardware, software, service, support, consulting and development will be represented.
