S&T: Biggest IT Acquisition in Slovenia

This takeover will increase sales by some EUR 15 million p.a., whereby S&T expects that the new company will already make a positive contribution to its results in the first year.

The ITS Group has been active on the former Yugoslavian market as a system integrator with solutions in the fields of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Supply Chain Management, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), eCommerce and Knowledge Management for more than 40 years and is also IBM's biggest partner in Slovenia for large computer systems / Tivoli and the most important BAAN /SSA partner in the Adriatic region. As a result of the acquisition S&T will gain more than 150 customers, mostly large and medium-sized enterprises.

The integration of 150 ITS employees will increase the S&T team in Slovenia to almost 400, allowing the company to expand its leading position even further. The ITS branches in Croatia, and Serbia and Montenegro and their employees will also be integrated into the existing S&T subsidiaries, significantly strengthening S&T's position in these important markets.

"This takeover will result in a major expansion of our service portfolio and customer base which largely comprises banks, insurance and industrial companies," said Christian Rosner, COO of S&T.

In compliance with Slovenian legislation, official approval for the transaction must now be obtained. Confidentiality about the details of the transaction was agreed with the seller.
