T-Systems and S&T sign Co-operation Agreement

Services for International Corporations in Eastern Europe

Most of T-Systems' customers are internationally active and can access a uniform range of products and services abroad. In order to ensure comprehensive service coverage throughout the Central and East European market T-Systems and Vienna-based S&T System Integration & Technology Distribution AG have signed a co-operation agreement for the desktop services business segment.

"The company possesses both a dense network of branch offices and subsidiaries throughout Central and Eastern Europe and the necessary experience in customer relationship management.
Together with this strong IT service provider T-Systems guarantees its customers reliable services even beyond the Crimea".

The enlargement of the European economic area presents T-Systems with the challenge of accompanying long-standing customers as they move into Eastern Europe and supporting them with reliable IT services which are available at short notice. T-Systems has successfully mastered this challenge with subsidiaries of its own in the Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland. However,
S&T has been represented and well established throughout the entire Central and East European region for many years. So if for example a problem arises at the Ukrainian branch of a T-Systems customer the first step, as usual, will be to try and find a solution via the helpdesk. If that is not possible, the next step is to involve the field service, i.e. a specialist will travel to the customer in order to solve the problem. This is where S&T as T-Systems' subcontractor comes in. The advantage for the customers is that due to the co-
operation with S&T service in Central and Eastern Europe comes from a single source, as they are used to with T-Systems.
