S&T Russia opens an IBM WebSphere Solution Center

Comprehensive consulting for IBM software and hardware

February 26, 2008. S&T Russia has opened an IBM WebSphere Solution Center in Moscow and is now, at the start of the new year, commencing operations there. The center offers advice about IBM WebSphere products to S&T customers in Russia and the CIS countries, provides individual consulting and planning, develops custom solutions, and supports customers during project implementation.

WebSphere is a family of IBM products that includes software for the integration of applications and IT infrastructure as well as the provision of a more cohesive development environment.

Increasing competence and expanding business

The IBM WebSphere Solution Center is dedicated to increasing competence, expanding business and continuing to develop the areas of integration and portal solutions. The same applies to SOA solutions based on the IBM WebSphere product portfolio and other IBM technologies. The Solution Center’s services offer Russian customers a quick overview of a variety of solutions and allow them to make a realistic assessment of how a particular solution can be integrated with other systems such as ERP applications.

This reduces risk associated with the implementation of this type of IT solutions. In addition, the Solution Center allows customers to trial pilot projects – either on their own or with the support of an S&T specialist. By taking advantage of this offer, customers are able to keep their own software, hardware and human resources free until they have come to a final decision about a solution. The Center also offers a variety of workshops, presentations and seminars. These can be held on site with a customer and guide participants through different solutions for specific IT problems.

Consulting services

The Solution Center also provides consulting services to customers who have already implemented IBM WebSphere solutions. This includes analysis of how existing IT infrastructure is configured, identifying problems and the development of enterprise integration concepts and portal solutions. The Center also conducts performance tests and analyses of IBM WebSphere solutions.

S&T Russia specializes in solutions for software and hardware integration as well as the planning and implementation of information and integrated data management systems.
