S&T AG and NTT Communications Launch Strategic Alliance

Co-operation in CEE - Memorandum of Understanding Signed

"NTT Communications customers include many Japanese and international companies which operate in CEE and Russia. In order to offer these customers optimal service we need a reliable and competent partner. S&T was our first choice. We are therefore very pleased with this joint strategic alliance and are convinced this co-operation will have a positive impact on the business success of both companies," said Kazuhiro Nishihata, President of NTT Europe.

System and Network Integration

S&T will primarily provide NTT Communications with system and network integration support for existing customers and, where necessary, also offer other services such as software solutions. The two companies have already collaborated successfully on a number of projects for European and Japanese customers, and are now expanding this co-operation due to anticipated rising demand for international integration services in CEE. According to Nishihata, "many Japanese companies are planning additional subsidiaries in the CEE countries and Russia. Due to its very good infrastructure, Poland in particular is very interesting for Japanese manufacturers who would also like to establish locations outside urban centres. With S&T as a strong regional partner we will be able to provide these customers with optimal service."

International Partnerships

S&T makes strong use of international co-operations in its strategic orientation. With NTT Communications, S&T has gained another extremely successful global player as a partner in addition to SAP, CISCO, HP, IBM, Microsoft and EMC.
