S&T Purchases IT Activities of T-Systems Turkey

S&T takes over the IT and SAP activities

Following the takeover of Unitis in Hungary last week, S&T System Integration & Technology Distribution AG has announced that it is to purchase the IT and SAP activities of T-Systems Turkey, further expanding its region-wide SAP presence.
The main purpose of the acquisition for S&T is that it will enable the company to upgrade its Managed Services and Business Solutions activities and expand its SAP business in Turkey. S&T intends to use the takeover to further strengthen its presence in this growing IT market.

T-Systems Turkey is one of the leading ICT providers in the country and has a customer base which includes both renowned Turkish and international companies from the automobile and manufacturing industries. The takeover will bring the number of S&T employees in Turkey to over 70.

"This takeover means that we can now offer our customers in Turkey the full range of S&T services, although the main focus will continue to be on telecoms and the manufacturing industry. The IT and SAP activities of T-Systems Turkey are a fantastic addition to our existing infrastructure activities," said Christian Rosner, CEO of S&T AG.
