S&T Implements SAP Solution for Slovenian Automotive Components Supplier

Increasing demand in manufacturing industry for leading-edge IT

In order to achieve closer integration with the supply chains of its partners and participate in the “just-in-time” manufacturing processes of the automotive industry, the Slovenian TPV Group, which employs 900 people, required a solution to manage and improve its business processes. S&T, long-standing SAP-partner in Slovenia, has implemented a MySAP-solution especially adapted for the automotive industry, which provides all the necessary interfaces for electronic data interchange (EDI) with business partners.

By implementing this new business information system, the TPV Group has taken an important step towards restructuring and implementing new technologies. The solution has enabled the company to improve its efficiency levels, simplify its business and accelerate business processes by providing state-of-the-art controlling methods and tools.

The crucial factor behind the decision to choose the S&T solution was the long-standing partnership of S&T's Slovenian subsidiary with the leading ERP provider SAP and the company's proven know-how in the field of ERP solutions and information systems.

S&T has been operating in Slovenia since 1999 and employs some 400 people there. The two companies have agreed not to disclose the order value of the project.
