S&T now Key Player in the SAP Business

S&T solution portfolio rounded off by takeover of SAP specialist EFP

The EFP Group is a leading SAP implementation and process consulting specialist with a clear focus on the manufacturing and processing industry, power utilities and the public sector. A total of 350 Enterprise Resource Planning specialists and consultants based in Austria, Switzerland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovenia, Croatia, Romania, Serbia and at a competence center for maintenance solutions in Germany now provide high-quality services to S&T customers. Furthermore, the expansion of ERP / SAP activities in Bulgaria, Hungary, Ukraine and Russia is planned for 2006.

Having held a 61% interest in EFP since June 2005, the complete takeover of EFP offers major advantages for S&T and its customers. As well as being able to offer a full range of ERP / SAP competences across the SEE / CEE region, the higher margins in this segment are expected to make a positive contribution to Group-wide profitability when EFP is consolidated for the first time in Q4 2005. Thanks to the takeover of the Slovak company Varias, which is part of the EFP Group, S&T will also have an SAP outsourcing center in Žilina (SK) that can guarantee SAP customers a professional and fail-safe operation of their systems.

S&T has recently appointed Michael Herrmann-Preschnofsky as the new managing director of EFP Consulting GmbH in Austria. The experienced manager and his team will focus on strengthening the SAP solutions and consulting business in Austria. This will round off S&T's portfolio in Austria, where the company is already very well positioned with sophisticated infrastructure solutions and services thanks to S&T Austria.
