S&T wins large order in Romania: SAP solution for Schneider Electric

S&T System Integration & Technology Distribution AG has landed a new order in Romania. IT-specialist S&T has successfully implemented a special SAP-based ERP solution at the Romanian subsidiary of the Schneider Electric Group. Confidentiality has been agreed about the volume of the order.
Schneider Electric is a leading supplier in the fields of electrical power distribution and industrial control and automation technology, and employs some 74,800 people in 130 countries at 13,000 sales offices and 190 production plants. Schneider Electric has been operating in Romania since 1997 and posts annual growth rates of up to 40%.

The implementation of the software solution allows Schneider Electric in Romania to adapt smoothly and efficiently to the standard IT environment of the Group. One of the main factors behind the decision to award the contract to S&T was the IT specialist's high level of technical competence as a local SAP consultant. For Schneider Electric Romania this implementation substantially improves a range of administrative business processes, leading to faster and more efficient customer service.
